Domaine Gros Frre et Soeur is a Burgundy wine producer based in Vosne-Romane. It makes a range of Pinot Noir-based wines from some of the region's top vineyards, including the grands crus Richebourg, chezeaux, Grands chezeaux and Clos de Vougeot. The domaine also makes white and red Hautes Ctes de Nuits wines, and wines from other vineyards in Vosne-Romane. Gros Frre et Soeur has its origins in the 1963 division of the Louis Gros estate. This was divided between his four children, and Gustave and Colette Gros combined their shares to form Gros Frre et Soeur. It is currently run by Colette's nephew Bernard Gros. The estate is known for its high use of new oak (in some cases, the grand cru wines get as much as 100 percent new oak). However, the grand cru holdings around Vosne-Romane are not vast, with just under 0.7 hectares (1.7 acres) in Richebourg, 0.3 hectares (0.7 acres) in Grands chezeaux and 0.9 hectares (2.2 acres) in chezeaux. The domaine has more vineyard holdings around Vosne (including in the Premier Cru Les Chaumes) and in the Hautes Ctes de Nuits. It also boasts a 1.5 hectare (3.7 acre) parcel in the Clos de Vougeot, in the northwestern corner between Chteau du Clos de Vougeot and the walls of the clos below the Musigny vineyard (hence the subtitle "Musigni" the plot is also known as "En Musigni").
