Castle Rock Winery is a USA wine producer with vineyards spanning the country's west coast from California, Oregon as well as Washington in the north. Founder Greg Popovich, established the winery in 1994 to create high-quality, yet affordable wines from some of the USA's most notable AVAs. The company has partnered with 40 growers from appellations such as Napa Valley, Sonoma County, Carneros, Mendocino County, Monterey County and Paso Robles in California, Willamette Valley in Oregon and Columbia Valley in Washington State to source its grapes. Once harvested, the grapes are taken to wineries in Napa Valley, Sonoma County, Willamette Valley and Columbia Valley for processing and bottling. The Francis Ford Coppola facility in Geyserville has been a long-term facility for the company. Castle Rock makes a wide range of wines, made from red varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petite Sirah, Pinot Noir, Syrah and Zinfandel, and white varieties like Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc. Wines are produced in an easy-drinking style, aimed to suit a broad range of consumers.
