For this speaker, HK invested in technology and components that are usually reserved for much more expensive speakers, to really make the PR:O series stand out. HK audio has one of the most modern audio-related R&D departments in Europe. The HK Audio sound systems (including the Premium PR:O series) have a nearly linear frequency response, a stable impedance and are capable of very serious SPLs. The Premium series has a spectacular tweeter that distorts very little, even at high volumes, resulting in a clear, defined sound distributed by the 60 x 40-degree horn. The 18-inch subwoofer from the Premium PR:O series features a passive crossover that perfectly divides the frequencies between the sub and the satellites. The system's impedance is 4 ohms per side when using a sub and a satellite per side. Standard features of the Premium PR:O series include ergonomically placed - and shaped - handles, satellites with standard fly points, a subwoofer ready for casters and Duo tilt adapters. The Duo Tilt adapter allows you to aim the speaker at the audience at a 7.5 or a 15-degree angle, just like you would with professional, flown speakers.
