Description:
Rory Gallagher was a soulful rock guitarist from Ireland. In 1976, Rory Gallagher released his second album for Chrysalis Records, "Calling Card", with Roger Glover of Deep Purple as co-producer. Calling Card" was released. The following year, 1977, he toured the UK, Europe, and Japan in support of the album's release. The London show on January 19 of the same year was recorded and broadcast for the BBC TV/radio music program "Sight & Sound," and this album uses the soundtrack from this broadcast. One encore song was omitted from the set list due to the air time. The set consisted of songs from the new album "Calling Card", songs from the previous album "Against The Grain", and three blues cover numbers, and the performance by the members of Rory Gallagher's second golden period was nothing short of superb.Imported domestic version with Japanese obi, English booklet and bilingual bookletRory Gallagher (g, vo)Jerry McAvoy (b)Rod Dearth (ds)Lou Martin (kbds)
