Pure CF Sound Engine
With the P-121, Yamaha have one again brought together state of the art technology with more than a century of acoutstic piano-making expertise. The icing on the cake, so the speak, would be the fabulous Pure CF Sound Engine.

Authentic Piano Playing Experience
Thanks to the GHS (Graded Hammer Standard) 73-key piano keyboard on the Yamaha P-121, you're presented with a playing experience reminiscent of an acoustic piano. With keys that range from a heavier touch at the low end, to a lighter touch at the high end, this is easily one of the closest playing experiences you can get to an acoustic piano without being phsyically sat in front of one.
Improved Audio
With two new upgrades to its sound production, Yamaha have really pushed the boat out with the P-121.
First there's a newly improved 2-way speaker system which pushes your sound both up from the piano, and down underneath it. This results in a rich sound field, making it feel as though you're siting in front of an actual acoustic piano.
In addition to the speaker setup, the Yamaha P-121 also comes complete with a Stereophonic Optimiser for your headphone socket.
With voices sampled from acoustic pianos already present in the P-121's voice library, the Stereophonic Optimiser can make you feel as though the sounds were coming from the body of the piano, giving you a pleasant and natural playing experience that can eliminate the stigma and issues usually associated with performing with headphones.
Lightweight and Portable
Moving the Yamaha P-121 from home, to rehearsal, to lessons, to gigs, and back couldn't be easier, thanks to weighing only 10kg. Get yourself a suitable gig-bag/case, and away you go!
In addition to this, the Yamaha P-121 has been specially designed with the new "table EQ). This feature ensures that you maintain optimal acoustic, so playing on a table or other hard, flat surface won't cause you any problems!
Smart Pianist
Yamaha's very own "Smart Pianist" app gives you control over the many functions on the P-121, simply by plugging in your smart-phone / tablet. You can make changes to voices, rhythms, and more through the screen on your mobile device, and what's more, it couldn't be easier to use.
This app allows you to save your settings and recall them back anytime, as well as discover the chords being played in audio tracks in your device instantly.
Yamaha Flowkey
As a new customer, users can also get access to 3 months of Flowkey Premium for free, an accessible learning software that can be used across multiple devices giving you access to over 1500 songs varying from classical piano pieces to pop.
